OUR PHILOSOPHY

LOVE FOR UNIQUENESS

Our goal is to completely exit the industrialized channels of fashion to restore proper value to “Made in Italy“ and “handmade“ that is, produced by knowledgeable and skilled “hands” that design, cut, sew, embroider, shaping garments made with care and attention.

It is important for us to know that the customer will take home all of this in a unique garment made from the highest quality fabrics. Each IBRIGU garment is one of a kind as a result of the singularity of the materials it is made of.

An ancient Japanese art, called kintsukuroi, teaches us that difficulties, fractures, fragilities, can enhance the uniqueness of a product, which is why the Japanese, when a vase breaks, decide to weld the pieces instead of throwing them away; the cracks are filled with gold or silver paste, to emphasize their importance, and the repaired vase thus becomes even more precious.

It is from this philosophy that IBRIGU is inspired, recovering vintage kimonos and scarves and other precious fabrics from Anatolia and the silk route, amplifying the value of the fabric and giving it a new life, a fresh course away from the channels of fashion consumerism.

IBRIGU’s strong connection with art establishes the brand’s character;

EVERY CHOISE IS THE RESULT OF A CULTURE AND EDUCATION IN
RECYCLING WITH METHOD AND TASTE.

The stylistic signature passion and decadentism, a French style as opposed
to strong bourgeois industrialization. An anti-conformist provocation,
a distinction from the mainstream that gives way to a precise identification
of the self.
